I can't say enough bad things about Egencia.
I am forced to use them by my company. Egencia's agents are not well informed or well trained.
They do NOT actually try to help the customer. They are just clicking the same keys I could click online. And if I need to call them because THEY require me too, they charge me for the call!! I just tried calling them in the middle of the day because I wanted to use some airline credits and they required me to call them to confirm.
When I did, the recording said that if this was emergency call they were going to charge me, otherwise to call during regular business hours. It WAS regular business hours.

- - Told a claim number would be issued and stay shortened to 2 days with the same itinerary.
Had to change hotel reservation at first didnt want to call the hotel since booked no refundable but convinced them to call and the hotel was accommodating. I was told will receive a claim number changing reservation to 2 days from 3 days and the itinerary would stay the same. Have not received anything as of yet

- - Booked as a hotel, but it was Airbnb.
- - Front desk was impolite; staff asked to call the agency.

The choosen hotel was not a hotel but an AirBNB place with appatements.
We where note helped when arriving at the entrence. The lady was very impolite and said we needed to call to the agency.
With our phones from Belgium this was not working. After serveral minutes of attemps the lady behind the desk proposed to call with her phone.
We explained to the person on the line we did not book for AirBNB appartments and requested to cancel the rooms.
Despite this the American Express was still invoiced.
Requesting to have a refund and Egency removing the Mint House from his list.
After that talking to the customer service for more than 40 min did not solve the issues. Agent was very confused did not know the procedures and could not help me further.
A case was created but till now nothing heared from it.

Egencia created a case number 1014****. Waiting on an answer
On arrival late at miami, hotel was not correctly reserved. We needed to receive an email with a number, which we didnt received. Due to this where not allowed to our hotel room.Hotel registration was not successfull, bot credit card debit was done.
On top it seemed that it was not a hotel, but an appartment.
